What is the Maximum Fill Level for the Dumpster?
Please ensure that no materials exceed the height of the container. Items protruding over the container's top may need to be removed for safe transportation before we collect the dumpster. It's mandatory by law that each load be securely tarped for safe transport. Any excess debris must be cleared by the customer, and a $50 return trip fee will be applied to cover our expenses.
What is the Required Notice Period?
The turnaround time for our services varies based on demand and equipment availability. While we strive to accommodate same-day dumpster drop-offs, it's not guaranteed. We recommend reserving in advance to secure your slot. If you cancel your order at least 48 hours before your scheduled service day, you'll receive a full refund. However, if you cancel less than 48 hours before your service day, a $75 charge will be applied, and the remaining balance will be refunded.
What is the Duration of My Dumpster Rental?
At Discount Dumpsters, our standard rental period is 14 days. If you require additional time, we highly advise requesting extra days when placing your order. This secures your rental and prevents the roll-off or dumpster from being allocated to another customer after the initial 14 days. Additional charges apply for extended rental periods, and availability beyond the initial rental period cannot be guaranteed once your order is confirmed. Please refer to our fee schedule for details. We strive to accommodate your requirements to the best of our ability.
What are the Weight Limits for the Dumpster?
Yes, as disposal constitutes a significant portion of the cost, each bin has a designated weight limit included in the price.
15-yard dumpster – 4,000 lbs
20-yard dumpster – 6,000 lbs
30-yard dumpster – 8,000 lbs
Exceeding these limits will incur an additional charge of $50 per ton. It's uncommon for the bin weight to surpass the included weight unless loaded with heavy debris.
Legally, we're permitted to carry up to 7,000 lbs. If the bin exceeds this limit, the customer must unload the excess weight. A $75 trip fee will be applied, and an additional charge of $15 per day will be incurred until the excess weight is offloaded.
For our 20-yard dumpster, the maximum weight capacity is 5,000 lbs. If the weight exceeds this limit, the customer will be required to unload the excess weight.
Is It Necessary for Me to Be Present During Delivery and Pickup?
It's not mandatory for you to be present during the delivery and removal process. However, we may contact you while on-site to ensure the proper placement of the bin.
